Important New Year questions

Last updated 30 December 2017 09:41

At the start of a new year, many people make decisions about aims they will have in the coming year, or about things they want to change. Here are three important questions you should ask when you review your New Year resolutions:

1. What input do you think Jesus would give to the goals you have set up for the coming year?

2. Are your goals connected to God and his Kingdom? If not; Why not?

3. How many of your goals deal with reaching out to new people with the gospel?

As we enter 2018 we can be sure of one thing: We are now one year closer to Jesus´ return than we were when we started 2017. Jesus asked us to make disciples of all peoples. Still there is a lot that is left undone. Thus, it is important that his mission remains in the centre of our priority list also when we set our personal goals for the coming year.

Jesus says; «Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions» (Matt. 24;45-46).

Tent International wishes you a Happy New year where you will receive God´s blessings in abundance and where you will be a blessing to many people!
