Welcome to this exciting event that will help you become a valued GO Equipped teacher in Tent. We look forward to spending time with you in Kaduna and welcoming you to our GO Equipped teaching team in the future.

Your Journey to become a certified GO Equipped teacher

Our Training of Trainers (ToT) programme includes the following:

• Our GO Equipped course

Only individuals who have completed the GO Equipped course are eligible to become trainers.

• Our Training of Trainers gathering

At this session, you will practise delivering parts of the GO Equipped course. It is essential that you arrive well-prepared and have reviewed the material we send to you beforehand.

• Teaching at two or more GO Equipped courses

After participating in the ToT gathering, you must co-teach with experienced trainers in at least two GO Equipped courses before your certification. Your Tent mentor will review course reports to determine when you are ready for certification.

Program for the gathering

Home work
Shortly after you register for our ToT program, you will receive a letter outlining the homework we ask you to complete before we get together in Kaduna. It is crucial that you have done all the pre-gathering work before we meet in Kaduna.

Kaduna program
The program in Kaduna consists of ToT-sessions in the morning and a GO Equipped course in the evenings. You are expected to attend both events. Some of you may also be asked to teach some slides at the GO Equipped course based on how well you have prepared.

In the ToT program, we will gather as follows:

Tuesday, April 14:

• 1:30 pm-2:30 pm: Introduction to the ToT program

• 3 pm - 7 pm: GO Equipped course

Wednesday, April 15:

• 9 am - 12:30 pm: ToT training session

  • Focused sessions:

    • Professionals, Businesspeople and Students in God’s Strategy

    • God’s View of Work

• 3 pm - 7 pm: GO Equipped course

Thursday, April 16:

• 9 am - 12:30 pm: ToT training session

  • Focused sessions:

    • In the Footsteps of Apostle Paul

    • Business as Mission

• 3 pm - 7 pm: GO Equipped course

Friday, April 17:

• 9 am - 12:30 pm: ToT training session with evaluation

  • Focused session:

    • 6M

    • Crossing Cultures with Confidence

• 3 pm - 7 pm: GO Equipped course

Saturday, April 18:

• 9 am - 6 pm: GO Equipped course

Place

The program takes place at a central location in Kaduna. You will receive updated information about the venue after you register. Tent will provide water and snacks during the ToT training.
