I was sitting in a coffee shop enjoying my coffee when a lady approached and said, "Do you know that you are called for the nations?" I answered with an annoyed, “Yes,” hoping the lady would go away and not start another conversation about my so-called "calling". Fortunately, she did not get the hint, and the conversation we had convinced me that I had to pray and think more seriously about how I understood the Great Commission.

In 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to travel outside my country for the very first time. It was also my first experience flying, and I was beyond thrilled. What made it even more remarkable was that I was visiting one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Despite arriving during the winter season, the scenery was breathtaking. Deep down, I did not want to leave. But of course, I had to—after all, I was just a visitor.

Going as missionaries is something that has always been in the back of the minds for my wife and me. Even before we met, both of us had a desire to serve Jesus in other cultures.
Not on my terms!
People who prepare to serve Jesus through their work in other nations, must prepare well. The stage in the preparation that is most significant and usually takes the longest time, is to decide to go.
